Implementations & Content Administrator

The Gist

The position has been created to take care of the initial software implementation for new customers: software content consultation and setup, to handoff of program workflows to the training team. From there, ongoing maintenance and changes to the customer needs of content and settings for all of GBS' customers. Other duties, including improvement of internal workflows and efficiency of tools, and some team support as required, will be based on the successful applicant's skills, attributes, and workload availability.​

Your Position

  • You will be working with the entire GBS team and customer requests and documents, using the CompTracker software, to setup tracking content and maintain/update the content and setup features available for a growing international customer base.
  • Customer implementations are incoming from the Sales team, and must be completed per the timelines available for the program to start tracking - including time available for training of multiple stakeholders and user groups.
  • Existing customers also go through industry and program changes, which require agility and flexibility to manage a busy schedule and plan for realistic timelines of delivery.
  • Different industries require different approaches and workflows, and depend on our team to have recommendations and best practices that are gleaned from our years of experience in delivering the product to the different programs.
  • You will develop useful and scalable report views to submit to the development team as required and requested by customers, as well as propose any useful or more efficient upgrades or features to the product based on your interactions with customers on a regular basis.
  • You'll also provide support to the CEO, and Sales and Customer Support teams, as required.
  • Since we work with educational institutions who are on a cycle of semester starts: September, January, and May are blackout months for personal or vacation time and will not be approved.

Who You Are

  • You have extensive computer experience, with a proven capacity to visualize and utilize data models to your advantage.
  • You are proficient (advanced) in all Microsoft Office suite applications.
  • You are a proven self-starter, with a strong work ethic and proven capacity to self-teach & learn complex systems and concepts very quickly.
  • You are analytical, pay close attention to detail, and have a track record of strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Your time management skills are unmatched. You can take tasks from different inputs (email, support requests, project management system) and plan and respond within required timelines, setting up realistic expectations for customers and their deliveries.
  • You will work from your home office, and must have the proven qualities to work within a remote team. This includes a quiet, uninterrupted space to perform and share video during meetings.
  • If you have a reliable personal computer, it is considered an asset for this position.
  • You absolutely must have a fast and reliable internet connection.
  • You may join the team as a full-time contract or employment position.
  • You will receive training of CompTracker software and internal processes / policies if selected as the successful candidate.
